Climate Fortunes
Drawing on the concepts of astrology and grounded in real climate science, Climate Fortunes is a web app that offers a glimpse into a future that is more certain than we might wish.
Developed during the Environmental Data, Media, and the Humanities Hackathon held from May 31 to June 2, 2023, in Potsdam, this project was organized by the Network of Digital Humanities at the University of Potsdam, in collaboration with Lukas Diestel, Maximilian Hepach, Giacomo Marinsalta, Sybille Neumeyer, Jonas Parnow, Birgit Schneider, and May Ee Wong. The initiative was funded by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, and the source code is available on GitHub.

Horoscope 2024 on ZfM
Published on the Zeitfschrift für Medienwissenschaften by transcript Verlag, this illustrated horoscope combines astrological principles with climate change and then considers which living beings might replace the zodiac signs in an era of transformation, no longer found in the stars but here on Earth.
